i have been to many spa and massage places in Asia and I must say this is one of the better ones I have been. First of all, the service is great, and the people are not pushy with regards to the packages you want. Therapist are very attentive and professional. Most importantly, the massage strokes are well done and you can sense that these therapists are properly trained in doing massages. Ambience of the place is great, quiet. and I totally feel relaxed during the session. Price is a higher than other street massage shops but quality is definitely higher. I think it was money well spent.
I recently stayed at the Diamond Elegance Boutique Hotel in Hanoi and this spa is part of the complex. I regularly booked in for a full body massage and foot massages and they were just sensational. The prices are extremely cheap compared to Perth, WA prices, and the services are great. Lovely compliment at the end of your treatment of ginger tea and fresh fruit. Would recommend most highly for anyone visiting Hanoi.
Consistent with the hotel it's in, the staff at this elegant spa are really friendly and helpful. I had the herbal massage they recomended, it was great - you know a massuse is great when they know when to push you and when to ease off without constantly needing to be told.
They gave me a discount to celebrate Tet, I paid about $50 for 90mins (I think - by this time I'd concluded that everything in Vietnam is cheap and stopped doing any more than very rough conversions), a bit less than 1/2 of what I'd pay back home, which seems fair (things in Vietnam generally cost 1/4 to 1/2 of what they'd cost back home).
